See How Energy Costs

Look Now

It's hard when you need to budget for rising energy costs. Here is information to help you.

A typical Westchester residential customer can expect a 13% higher electricity bill and a 49% higher gas heating bill for January, compared to December.*

Your energy bill consists of three parts: supply costs, delivery charges, and taxes. We expect supply costs will be the biggest driver of bill increases this winter. Supply costs are passed on to you, with no markup, when we buy the energy that you use. Supply costs fluctuate and are affected by weather, demand, and energy market trends.

We’re taking steps to keep energy bills as low as possible, like locking in prices when energy is cheaper.

*This estimate is based on you using about 600 kilowatt hours of electricity and 202 therms of natural gas for heating in January. Your bill impact will vary depending on your usage, billing cycle, and exact service classification.
