You earn bill credits from Con Edison because you are enrolled in community solar, community distributed generation or another similar program.
Now, you may get additional credits if Con Edison is late in crediting you for your participation in one of these programs. |

If your account is not credited within two months of when your host project generates electricity, you’ll get $10 for every month that we’re late. |

Con Edison will also provide retroactive $10 bill credits if we’ve been at least two months late in crediting you for your participation and you hadn’t been credited by Sept. 1, 2023. The $10 retroactive credits are only available for June, July, August, and September 2023 for a maximum of $40. |

You don’t need to take any action to receive the additional monthly bill credits if you’re eligible. It will appear on your bill at the same time your community distributed generation participation credits are applied. This is part of Con Edison’s new rates approved by the New York State Public Service Commission.
